This October, Ongaku Overdrive will bring you the Orlando area’s best Halloween party! OngakuVania V celebrates Halloween with live video game music and cosplay. It’s always a spooky fun time and one of our favorite events to host. This party takes place on October 24th at Conduit in Winter Park, FL.
This year’s OngakuVania costume contest will have a $250 cash prize!

FamilyJules is a guitarist best known for his video game music guitar arrangements on his channel at YouTube. The sick shreds of Jules led him be on the soundtracks of games like Cadence of Hyrule, Rift of the Necrodancer, and Crypt of the Necrodancer which won the Game Developer’s Choice Award for Best Audio 2016. FamilyJules performances are always powerful, so get ready to have your FACES ABSOLUTELY MELTED by Jules’ monstrous riffs and blistering solos!

GWIZ
Calling all in the Milky Way, it’s time to party with GWIZ of the Stars!
GWIZ is a DJ, music producer & pop star from Los Angeles, CA. Her sets feature a mix of rave music inspired by racing & video game culture. GWIZ has been turning up the speed to 200 bpm/mph with her larger-than-life stage performance. Not only that, GWIZ has music in games such as Sonic X Shadow Generations and Victory Heat Rally.

The Arkadian
The Arkadian is a solo/group act that writes songs about video games in the style of 80s heavy metal. The band was founded in 2016 by frontman Jon O’Neal while in Boston and their first live show was at PAX East 2018. Since then, the project has taken the gaming community by storm with the release of their 2019 album, “Playing With Power,” and an epic catalog of tunes following after. 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the project, yet The Arkadian continues to deliver a high octane performance you will not want to miss!

Swell Rell
Swell Rell is a nerdcore rapper whose intent is to change the general perception of what a nerd is or how a nerd looks. He mixes nerdy concepts with aggressive, bravado filled bars you would expect from mainstream hip-hop. He has shared stages with all of your nerdcore favorites and played festivals like MAGFest and SXSW. Swell has also spent the summers of 2025 and 2026 touring nationally with mc chris.

Costume Contest
In the spirit of Halloween, we will be having a costume contest on stage! It will take place in the middle of the event schedule. The costume contest winner will be chosen by the loudest audience reaction and will receive a commemorative plaque and $250 cash!

About Conduit
Conduit is the new name of the night club on Aloma Ave and Forsythe in Winter Park, FL, and the new owners are Pete Olen of Endoxa Booking, Will Walker of Will’s Pub, and Jerry Dufrain of Tampa’s Orpheum. Though a metal and punk focused venue, Conduit hosts everything from hip hop and pop music, to seated events and daytime markets. You may know this plaza as the home of Cybertron Games, and Conduit is only a few doors down. Not only that, parking is free!
