Undertale has been celebrated for nearly a decade for it’s touching story, quirky characters, and incredible soundtrack that has now become iconic. With Undertale’s tenth anniversary looming and fan-demand high for us to do a show inspired by the game, Ongaku Overdrive proudly presents Hopes and Dreams, a live concert that will feature music from Undertale and Deltarune, along with other beloved video games.

Hopes and Dreams also makes the ORLANDO DEBUT of renowned YouTube musician and video game shredmaster FamilyJules!

FamilyJules

FIRST TIME IN ORLANDO! FamilyJules is a guitarist best known for his video game music guitar arrangements on his channel at YouTube. The sick shreds of Jules led him be on the soundtracks of games like Crypt of the NecroDancer, Cadence of Hyrule, and Infernax. FamilyJules performances are always powerful, so get ready to have your FACES ABSOLUTELY MELTED by Jules’ monstrous riffs and blistering solos!

Lame Genie

Formed in 2013, Lame Genie is a video game music cover band from Providence, RI that creates high-production metal covers for classic and modern gaming tunes. Their live show is something to behold with amazing visuals, projections, and technical metal precision. They have been featured in many notable conventions such as Super MAGFest, PAX East, Too Many Games, and even ONGAKU 20XX: Wily’s Revenge. Having recorded over 14 albums in their 10-year span, this is a band that doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Trash Burger

Trash Burger is a powerhouse rock group that combines ’80s and ’90s pop rock with iconic video game music. Formed in 2019, Trash Burger has brought their unique blend of video game music to multiple venues across Central Florida opening for acts such as Bit Brigade, Mega Ran, The Megas, Aurelio Voltaire, and mc chris. Their live show is a celebration of gaming and pop music that will have you bouncing up and down all night long!

Ben Briggs

Full-time musician, VGM remixer, DJ, owner of Tiny Waves. Best known for melodic high-energy EDM remixes of classic VGM, as well as a big chunky handful of Undertale remixes. Trying to leave the world better than he found it by uplifting fellow creatives (and dancing a lot).

About Conduit

Conduit is the new name of the night club on Aloma Ave and Forsythe in Winter Park, FL, and the new owners are Pete Olen of Endoxa Booking, Will Walker of Will’s Pub, and Jerry Dufrain of Tampa’s Orpheum. Though a metal and punk focused venue, Conduit hosts everything from hip hop and pop music, to seated events and daytime markets. You may know this plaza as the home of Cybertron Games, and Conduit is only a few doors down. Not only that, parking is free!
