This past Sunday was our fourth annual Virtua Ongaku Holiday Special, a fun charity stream we do to help families who need it. Once again, donations went to Give Kids the World Village in central FLorida. They are an incredible organization and we are pleased to let those who missed it know that we raised $2000 for the organization. We could not be more thrilled.
We want to thank everyone who tuned in and donated, as well as our performers. Tiggs, Coobie, Katie Shesko, The Last Seahorse, Ian Cowell, Ro Panuganti, and Lacey Johnson all brought something fun to the show. All the donation goals we here, which included fun performer rewards as well as the Mr. Ongaku’s One Chip Challenge and Ro Panuganti’s Last Dab Shot! It was a hot conclusion to an incredible night.
Performances will be uploading to YouTube over the next week. You can watch Tiggs’ right now!
Special thanks to Paper Lab Studios, StellarNan, Bi Score, and GameGrooves for prize donations. We are getting those out this week.
It is always fun to have these shows. The music is wonderful, and seeing everyone come together to support a great cause is always rewarding. With this event, Ongaku Overdrive has officially raised over $10,000 total with our charity streams. We are definitely proud of this.
Coming up, we have a few things to be excited about:
Sunday, December 15th at 7:00pm EST, we will have a watch party on Twitch for Free Play Florida. This includes the concerts we had with Mega Ran and Trash Burger, as well as the panel we had earlier that day!
Thursday, December 19th at 8:30pm, we will meet up at the Aloma Cinema Grill in Winter Park, FL for the 8:45pm showing on Sonic 3! Tickets are $5 each and they serve food!
Then from December 20th to December 22nd, we have a promo table at Holiday Matsuri at the Orange County Convention Center. We have no idea how it’s going to work, but we did get confirmation! More details to come as soon as we have them.
It has been a fun year so far, and we wish you all a Happy Holidays!
