ORLANDO, FL — Ongaku Overdrive proudly presents a Halloween party for gamers by gamers on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at Conduit in Winter Park, Florida.

The third annual OngakuVania celebrates Halloween with live video game bands, spooky-themed cocktails, console game setups, prize raffles, and a costume contest with a $200 cash prize!

Several acts on the OngakuVania III  lineup will be making their Orlando area debuts.

SUPER MONSTER PARTY – Based in Miami, Florida,  Super Monster Party’s albums are packed with original songs based on classic games like CastlevaniaDOOM, and Resident Evil. With a submersive backstory and video game “Permadeath” that puts you in the role of the “Champion,” you’ll battle through video game worlds to save the realm of Permadeath from an unprecedented evil.

RO PANUGANTI PROG EXPERIENCE = The Ro Panuganti Prog Experience is a supergroup of progressive rock and metal artists from all over the country, performing bombastic video game covers drawing from heavy metal, classic rock, and more! Ro Panuganti has made a name for himself with impressive music videos on YouTube before playing at large festivals such as MAGFest and VGM Con.

THEOLOGY – Theology is a VGM remix producer and DJ from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is  also a mental health activist and believes that, if harnessed properly, video games can be amazing for our mental health. Thus, his content ecosystem explores the ideas found within video games and how they can improve us as humans.Theology has DJ’d in clubs for 17 years and just released the album, Theology of Mana Phase II.

TRASH BURGER – Trash Burger is an Orlando-based powerhouse rock group that combines ’80s and ’90s pop rock with iconic video game music. Featuring members of past video game bands Random Encounter and Under Polaris, they have over 20 years of experience performing video game music in front of many crowds.

“We are always excited to bring live video game music to the Orlando area, and combining that with Halloween has been a massive hit,” states Ongaku Overdrive founder Kent Ward. “But after some really crazy hurricanes this past month, I think we’re all ready to come together and party!”
