Two weeks ago, we announced Power, Wisdom, and Courage and we thank all of you who have bought both general admission and VIP tickets to the event. This event is very special to us and we look forward to bring fans quite an experience on November 17th at The Abbey. We’re ready to announce another musical act for our lineup, which already includes Bit Brigade. Joining them and making their Florida debut will be the metal band Master Sword!

Maryland’s Master Sword was formed in 2013 with the goal of writing original music that utilized the memorable melodies and stories of The Legend of Zelda in new and interesting ways. Combining the power of heavy metal, the textures of progressive rock, and their own distinctly catchy melodies; Master Sword has gained a large cult following in both the national VGM scene and the heavy metal community. Coming hot off the heels of mainstage performances at MAGFest and DragonCon, with their newest release Shadow and Steel under their belt, they’re excited to bring their unique sound to Ongaku Overdrive’s ‘Power, Wisdom, and Courage: A Tribute to Zelda’.

We’re really excited to have Master Sword at Power, Wisdom, and Courage. Over the next month, you will see the rest of our musical lineup. In the meantime, Labor Day is this Monday and Ongaku Overdrive founder Kent will be running a 12-hour marathon stream on our Twitch channel that will be all Legend of Zelda games. This will also be a fundraiser to cover some of the costs of our show, starting with travel for our bands. The fun will start at 11:00am EST and you can vote on which games will be played over on our Patreon.
