On Saturday, September 15th, we invite you to celebrate the birth of one of our favorite people in the nerd music community when we have Professor Shyguy’s Birthday Bash! We’ll have music, video games, table top games, prize raffles, drink specials, and some birthday treats. Not only that, all the festivities will be hosted by the great Marc with a C. It’s a party and you’re invited!

Professor Shyguy
Professor Shyguy’s music can be best described as; high energy, chiptune-electro-rocking, 8-bit, epically vocalized, highly danceable, theatrical nerd-pop. Singing 50% about video games and the other 50% is anything from Space/Time to English Language gymnastics. He is recently known as the singer for Starring Star on the Funimation dub of Dragon Ball Super. You might have also heard him on Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon’s Podcast ‘the Indoor Kids’ or the Diamond Club podcast. He has also made theme songs for GuudeBoulderfist, This Week in Chiptune, PortsCenter, and more!
Crunk Witch
Crunk Witch is an electro-pop duo from Presque Isle, ME. The band was formed in 2009 by married couple Brandon Miles and Hannah Colleen. Their music blends pop, rock, and various electronic genres. Many of their lyrics are set in a science fiction reality and involve themes of adventure and romance. The group spends a large portion of the year performing at events such as SXSW, PAX East, and a variety of other venues across the U.S. Crunk Witch has released four full-length albums, including their 2018 self-titled release, and sold over 30k albums and singles worldwide.
Under Polaris
Under Polaris is a duo that shares their love of video games and metal. These good brothers, Robert and Steven, have been playing music together and have worked hard to show that there is no idea too silly, and no song too heavy! Under Polaris has become one of Orlando’s favorite acts to see live and they recently released their debut self-titled album in August 2018.
Jackson Parodi
After honing his skills for over six years, Jackson Parodi has ascended to the title of King of Accordion Style. Whether it’s on his Twitch broadcasts or at a live event, Jackson specializes in playing anything and even taking audience requests. His musical performances also feature playful comedic interactions with his audience to always give a fun show. Jackson also produces weekly accordion videos on YouTube. In addition to performing music, Jackson enjoys sewing, baking, and professional wrestling.
Ben Briggs
Ben Briggs is a full-time musician, entertainer, and DJ with over a decade of experience; widely known for remixing video game music. As the co-founder of Tiny Waves and a veteran contributor to the chiptune & video game music scene, he has quickly become a key influencer in the industry with numerous successful events and music releases. He has performed at countless conventions worldwide including Otakon, MAGFest, Anime Festival Orlando, ConBravo in Canada, and Minami Convention in Chile, South America. Beloved for his electronic dance music with strong chiptune influence, he delivers a high-energy performance full of positive energy and LOTS of dancing. Dedicated to “making the fun happen”, Ben believes it is his purpose to remove people from the stress of their daily lives with music.
