Ongaku Overdrive proudly presents Virtua Ongaku XV, live on our Twitch channel! Expect a fun night of video game music and other nerdy jams. Even with OngakuVania on the way, we will still have virtual concerts to showcase amazing acts you can’t see anywhere else. While the show is free to watch, we will be taking your donations to help pay the act performing on Virtua Ongaku XV. When you donate, you will be entered into our prize raffle.

DiscoCactus is a collective of arrangers, composers and performers that specializes in creative arrangements of video game soundtracks that blur the lines between contemporary art music and pop culture. Combining classical training with fearless improvisation, DC is a genre-bending experience that everyone from hardcore gamers to casual observers, can explore and enjoy.
String Player Gamer
Diwa de Leon, known as String Player Gamer, is a Filipino composer, music producer, violinist, and content creator born in the Philippines. After falling in love with the music of Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past at age eleven, Diwa’s journey into video game music took root. Fast forward to the present, String Player Gamer is now a professional musician who aims to amplify his childhood nerd nostalgia into high quality, musical productions for everyone to enjoy.
Jackson Parodi
You’ve seen him at past Ongaku Overdrive events and maybe even on stage at MAGFest, Video Games Live, or Zeldathon. Jackson Parodi is the King of Accordion Style, weaving in his comedic timing and rapier wit with improvisational musical performance. Whether it’s on his Twitch broadcasts or at live events. But this time, Jackson will be playing piano! Jackson specializes in playing anything and even taking audience requests. In addition to performing music, Jackson enjoys sewing, baking, and professional wrestling.
Only One Ronin
Only One Ronin is an artist based out of Oakland, CA. His content is mostly shaped by the anime, comics and the pop culture he enjoys. This is the avenue he has chosen to frame the introspection from his real life struggles and aspirations. As of recently, he has become a streamer on Twitch. He is also Co-creator of Skill Ckeck, a tabletop role-playing game based on freestyle rap, also Twitch.
Rhythm Bastard
Hailing from West Palm Beach, Rhythm Bastard takes the stage armed only with his voice, his guitar and his bandmate, a laptop, playing a mix of punk and garage rock, with music draws inspiration from video games, anime, comics, and everything in-between. He has also made his name on the convention circuit, performing at events such as Anime Festival Orlando, Florida Supercon, MomoCon, Megaplex, and Furry Weekend Atlanta. In 2022, Rhythm Bastard released Hardcore Nerdcore Punk Rock, a celebration of his 10+ year discography with a collection of live staples, Patreon exclusives, and more.

Prize Raffle
There will be a raffle around 10:15pm, after the final act. There will multiple drawings and each of those winners will be contacted by us to receive prizes. Prizes will include albums from the Bandcamps of the Virtua Ongaku XV acts, tickets to OngakuVania, and more. For every $5 donated to the event, will be an entry into the raffle. So if someone donates $25, that will be FIVE raffle entries! These donations will help pay the acts performing.
