We had a hell of a show last Thursday at Conduit. Thank you to everyone who came to Black Materia Live, featuring the epic team up between Mega Ran and The Limit Breakers. Easily one of the top 5 performances in the history of Ongaku Overdrive, and we’ve had a lot!
Also rockin the stage were O_Super, Teek Hall, and dj-Jo. But you guys really came in and showed a lot of love, making the night really special. We all appreciate that.
We have a lot coming up. W we filmed all the performances that night and even got the audio from Conduit’s sound engineer, so we’re going to start editing that all together for a future watch party on our Twitch!
This year is also going to be good for Final Fantasy VII fans, because not only is Rebirth coming out, the CGI film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be in theaters next month and we’re going to the Wednesday, February 21st showing at 7pm at Regal Winter Park Village for our next community meetup.
But that’s not all! Mega Ran launched a kickstarter for his Black Materia: REBIRTH album, which is going to be dope. You should support that,
And to keep the limits breaking, our next show will be the sequel to our most-successful event ever. Warriors of Light II will take place on Saturday, July 27th at Conduit in Winter Park, Florida. It will be a celebration of music from role playing games, including and especially Final Fantasy! Stay tuned for details.
