Ongaku Overdrive’s NEXGEN is July 14th!
Here we go! Next week is our next event. We at Ongaku Overdrive are excited to present, NEXGEN, showcasing the future of our community on Saturday, July 14th at The Geek Easy, located at 114 S. Semoran Blvd #6, Winter Park, FL 32792, right across the street for Full Sail University.
Tickets will be a special discount of $10 until 2:00am on Saturday morning. After that, they are $13 at the door. In addition to music, there will be game setups, prize raffles, and drink specials.
Saturday will have a stacked lineup featuring LEX the Lexicon Artist, None Like Joshua, Wreck the System, Symphonic Pheenix Force, and EyeQ. We also have an amazing host for the night, as NEXGEN will be hosted by Orlando’s #1 Singer/Songwriter, Marc with the C.

Prize Raffle
During NEXGEN, there will be a prize raffle drawing on the main stage. We will have some fun prizes including tickets to our September show and the legendary documentary Nerdcore for Life. Tickets will be available at the Ongaku Overdrive merch table $1 for 1 raffle ticket or $5 for 6 raffle tickets. You must be present in order to win any prizes.
Parking
Parking at The Geek Easy is free and first-come, first-serve. Overflow parking is available at the crossfit gym next door. Please do not park at China Garden or the nearby gas station. You will probably be towed if you do.
Can’t Be In Orlando This Saturday?
If for whatever reason, you can’t physically be at NEXGEN, we’ll have a one-camera stream setup on our Twitch channel. Be sure to give us a follow. If you want us to have a better streaming setup, with multiple cams and fancy graphics, be sure to donate to our Patreon.
Twitch Game Streams on Wednesday
We stream games on our Twitch channel on Wednesdays 9:00pm EST and go for at least a couple hours. Next week is dedicated to the Nintendo Entertainment System as Kent just got the NES Classic. You can vote on what game will be played right now on our Patreon! (Supporters only)
LEX the Lexicon Artist made a video talking about playing in Orlando for NEXGEN and what that means for her. None Like Joshua, Wreck the System, and Symphonic Pheenix Force did the same as well. Collect them all!
