Ongaku Overdrive’s NEXGEN is July 14th!
Ongaku Overdrive is excited to bring Orlando the next generation of nerd music with a brand new event that will showcase the future! NEXGEN takes places on Saturday, July 14th at The Geek Easy, located at 114 S. Semoran Blvd #6, Winter Park, FL 32792, right across the street for Full Sail University. Tickets will be $10 in advance, $13 at the door. In addition to music, there will be game setups, prize raffles, and drink specials.
So far we have announced None Like Joshua, LEX the Lexicon Artist, Wreck the System, Symphonic Pheenix Force. These are all great acts on the verge of going to the next level. But what if we added one more killer act to that lineup? Perhaps a certain titan slayer? YEAAAAAH WE DOIN IT

CEO 2018 this weekend. We’ll be there!
This weekend is the CEO 2018 video game convention in Daytona Beach at the Ocean Center. (The birthplace of the nWo, brother.) There will be over a dozen fighting game tournaments, DDR competitions, a 24/7 freeplay arcade, panels, vendors, artists, and even a New Japan Pro Wrestling show! Plus, it all takes place right on the beach.
We’re running Fighting Game Name That Tune in Panel Room 1 (room 33) this Friday at 6:00pm. If you know your fighting game music, you can win some sweet prizes just by entering. There will be five rounds, with prizes for each.
Also, there will be a Music of CEO Daytona panel on Saturday in Panel Room 1 (room 33) at 2:30pm featuring Mega Ran, EyeQ, Mag.Lo, and O_Super. They will talking about the life of being musicians in a nerdy world and the crossover of music fans and video game fans.
It’s always great to see EyeQ live. Check out one of his performances from one of our Orlando Overdrive events!
