Thank you for coming to Power, Wisdom, and Courage!

Thank you all for coming to Power, Wisdom, and Courage this past Saturday at The Abbey. We enjoyed a night of music, games, drinks, vendors, art, cosplay, and more, all dedicated to The Legend of Zelda. It’s a game franchise near and dear to our hearts, and we wanted to put on a killer event that celebrated our love for those games proper.

It was a lot of fun, and we’d like to thank The Abbey for having us and their dedication to making sure our event succeeded. It was our first time there, and hopefully not our last. We’d also like to thank Bit Brigade, Master Sword, Super Guitar Bros, dj-Jo, No Borders Art Competition, Cybertron Games, Leah’s Lovely Junk, Hidden Palace Games, LaLaLaurie, Animeknickknacks, Polarity, our amazing costume contest judges from Holiday Matsuri, and Zelda Dungeon for all being a part of the event. (Yeah, we expect you to click on all those links.)

What’s Next?

Our next event won’t be until next spring with Orlando Overdrive, which we are hoping to expand for its fourth iteration. We’ll be celebrating Orlando’s Best and Nerdiest in a big way so be on the lookout for that.

Until then, we will be doing weekly game streams on our Twitch channel. We usually stream Wednesdays starting at 9:00pm; however, this Wednesday, October 21st will be the 20th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, so Kent will be doing a marathon stream from 7:00pm to midnight. There will probably be some bonus streams over the Thanksgiving break as well. (Majora’s Mask has still not been beaten…)

Next week, we’ll have game stream polls and other content on our Patreon that you can support. If you like what we do, you can support us there.

We had some cool merchandise for Power, Wisdom, and Courage. We’ll have what’s left on our store in some special discount bundles for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That will go up soon. Get that soon, because once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Last year, we had Mega Mania. This year we had Power, Wisdom, and Courage. What’s next? We have a feedback survey you can fill out now to help us decide what game franchise we build an event around next fall. It will also help make events like these better.

Thank you all again for the love and support. Team Ongaku wishes you a great Thanksgiving weekend.
